Its a bit outdated but.. I thought I'd post my review of FESD
Fire Emblem - Shadow Dragon
Console = Nintendo DS
Main Character = Marth ( yes the blue haired girly character who is a boy)"Why am I last on the Man Tier! (personal joke)
Style = RPG Stratigy
Price = £29.99 (I guess you can get cheaper now)
This is the first FE i ever bought or played and i must say - i'm impressed. I love a good RPG if you.ve ever played Final Fantasy you will love this.
You start out as Marth (The Prince of the kingdom).You get betrayed by this guy and your father is dead, so you go in search of this man and on the way you recruit a team of warroirs. In your team there are many different characters like Shiina (i think thats how you spell it) who is a princess who rides a pegasus you can travel wide distances but is weaker in HP and other stats. There is also archers who can shoot from 2 squares away and mages who can heal and attack useing elements.
One of the problems is when a character dies - he/she doesn't come back - never. This is annoying as it means lots of reseting but! it sort of makes the game harder and more intresting you have to use your brain and let your stronger character always aside or weaker.In a way its alot like rock paper siscors aswell Sword beats axe - axe beats lance lance beats sword.
One of things i must merit this game is its easy controls it takes 2 minuets to grasp and once you've got them theres no going back.
The graphics may be pretty crappy but im the gameplay makes up for it. Some bits can seem repretative but after a while you really get into it.
Overall i'd give this game a
7/10
if you like pokemon and RPG games then you'll like this and its not just got hardcore FE fans ive never bought one in my life.
